Parents or adult anglers who offer a child or young adult the chance to take their first fishing trip can provide a rewarding experience for all. People who fish tend to understand the natural aquatic network of plants and animals that help to sustain fish.

A day spent fishing can offer the opportunity for one generation to pass on their experience with a new generation of anglers.

Research shows that young people today do not have access to fishing opportunities that once enjoyed. Some of the reasons: living in urban or suburban areas where fishing access is not readily available, competition for time by an ever-increasing schedule of special actives, and too little time for unstructured leisure.

Taking "time out" by fishing can be a great way to offset some of the many challenges and stresses that we all seem to be faced with today. Sometimes just being some where away from the fast pace of life - even if just for a few hours - can provide a new perspective and a fresh outlook.

Our Kid Fishing trips offer parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, god parents, single parents, Big Brothers, or anyone the opportunity to experience a relaxing evening enjoying the outdoors while fishing. 

Our child fishing trips occur every week day evening during the summer.  We meet you and your child at a local Oakland County lake sometime after your work and your child's school (typically between 6:00 and 7:00).  We'll have the boat in the water and ready to go, all you have to do is show your adult fishing license (Kids are FREE) and we will be fishing in minutes.  Don't worry about dinner, it will be provided on the boat while we fish.  Typical dinners are hamburgers, hot dogs, or chicken with chips and soda or water.  Special dietary needs can be accommodated with advanced notice.

Fishing is FUN!  It's not about how many or how BIG, it's about being out there and sharing the experience.  All of our trips are CATCH and RELEASE with exceptions made for wounded fish or a real trophy. It not about the fish but the experience.

Why our trips are an adventure to remember:

• We are SAFE.  Certified in Adult and Child CPR and First Aid.

• We have FUN while making it a simple adventure to remember.

• We use reliable equipment and each child gets their "own" outfit for the day. No sharing with mom or dad (unless desired).

• We DO NOT force anything. If the child doesn't watch to touch a fish or a worm, we will show them how while we do it.  Imitation is the best teacher.

• We ALWAYS have a camera to document the event.

• We bring food and PLENTY of snacks.

• Our trips are designed to match a child's attention span.  We will fish as long as we can or a short as you wish.  There are many activities we can do together to keep the interest up.

• All of our fishing spots have some type of restroom facility on the lake.  Usually no more than a 5 minute boat ride.

• We put pictures on this web site for friends and relatives to share your child's joy.
